The Flag of Pakistan
The national flag of Pakistan was designed by Amiruddin Kidwai, and was adopted on 11 August 1947, just three days before the country's independence. It is based on the All-India Muslim League flag.

Qaumi Taranah (قومی ترانہ) - Pakistan's national anthem was officially adopted in August 1954. The lyrics were written by Ahmed Ghulam Ali Chagla and the music was composed by Hafeez Jullundhri.

The anthem is written in Persian and uses highly Persianized Urdu. It consists of three stanzas, of which only the first one is sung on official occasions.
It celebrates the aspirations of the people of Pakistan, the country's heritage, and its sacred land.
